Sail along

Further and further the ship sails away,
Shore now a tiny spec
Waving goodbye sailors look at the bay..
With a lump in their neck,
Optimistic to return back another day,
Blissfully unaware of the catastrophe lying on their way.

Danced and talked they all day long,
Sun sinking beneath the horizon.
For their loved ones they sang song..
Slowly dark clouds spread like poison,
Waves turned all wrong.
Stars,moon gone,they were now forlorn.

Waves slashed against the ship,
Water hit hard on the face.
Terror made their heart rip..
The ocean lost its grace.
Waves lashed them like a whip
The mighty vessel had a flip.

Time sailed,out came the first beam,
Silence reverberated in the air,
The ship was nowhere to be seen.
The sun shone with a glare,
The ocean drowned their dreams
Overpowered their screams.

Folks back,set their eyes on sea
Storm creeping in their thoughts.
Realized them,they would never ever see
slowly recover from the overwrought



Forever the ocean others couldn't hate,
Had to set out their sails
Natures,nature is to destroy and create
In their stride sailors take the gale
A heart ready for ill fate,
Yet sail along with all faith......
