Religious Atheists

We call ourselves to me mature,
Entangled in the midst of war.
Destroy everything,
Yet blatantly ask for more..
And you pray thy god to make the world more secure.
Fool thou are,stop killing in his name anymore.


In the name of religion you fight,
Isn't it sacrilegious to do so?
Such behavior puts even thou God in a plight.
To us,he bequeathed his land long ago,
let not bloodshed,hatred and jealousy turn it into a burial site.


Whether i believe in God,I don't know,
Belief in him shown by extravagant display,
No fine line between what you desire and what you pray...
Inner belief each one wants to portray.
God is my friend,I know,and I thank him everyday,
Neither a theist nor an atheist,
my belief gets reshaped like the clay.


But tell me,hes all forgiving you say,
Does he get angry if on an auspicious day I don't pray??
And how can doing a wrong in his name be right?
Or,are all the sins pardoned when his hymns you recite?
Nay!its kindness and doing thy job,which causes him delight..
I wonder,sometimes why doesn't he set everything alright??

The essence of all religion being the same,
The creator of this universe is the main.
The thirst to win is causing humanity a shame,
Whens't in distress,at others we first blame,
Others retort,sacred circle of life turns bane,
Man is the most obnoxious creature,
and will remain.
If from his selfish nature he doesn't refrain.
On others he inflicts pain,
Full of cowardice,
Does wrong and seeks refuge under the almighty's name.
