Certain set of COMMANDMENTS
Okay, here goes my first post which is NOT poetry.
This post may sound a bit opinionated and unfair for all the gentlemen out there but still I cannot control myself from being sarcastic.....
.....
There are certain rules and norm which need to be followed while using public transport ( read bus). These cannot be and should not be bypassed.
1. If you are a guy, however hefty/lanky/tiny you are and you are sitting next to a girl, you never ever try to squeeze in both of your ass to fit the seat and in the process squeeze the girl and make her uncomfortable. It is perfectly fine if a quarter of your butt is hanging out. Trust me it doesnt off balance the equilibrium and you won't fall off from the seat and break your handsome nose or tooth. But if you do sqeeze in more then the girl might do that to you. If she is giving you the sudden glare and 'tuh tuttiing' with vexation at regular interval then thats srtike one and you have to behave. Suppose you act or let me give you the benefit of doubt and assume that you are imbecile and are unable to comprehend her body language and then if she finally says 'Excuse Me' Thats it! It should ring the fire bells and you should maintain at least one arm distance from her for like eternity.
2. Again for guys. This is an extension of the first. If you are sitting next to a girl who is not your friend for that matter not even an acquaintance, you never sit close to her. You have to leave atleast three inch of space inbetween and make sure that you don't elbow her. And if she gets fidgety and constantly shifts and moves away from you, then NO she is not giving you further space so that you can sprawl yours legs and sit like a an emperor on a throne!
PS: If you dancing by reading the above that you can do so with your friends then stop right away and read further. If she is your friend/acquaintance too, the above rule applies unless and until you do not share that comfort level with her. Duh uh...thats common sense dude..
PPS: If you are uncontrolably asleep and drool off even then the maximum limit to elow/fall on her is twice. You need to have a grip on yourself.
3. Guys are spared now. This is a common rule. You never cough/sneeze right out in the open. Tissues/handkerchief's have been invented for a reason. If these are out of reach then you look away or use your hand so that the germs just stay up to you. You can even try to stifle it, I dont think it will suffocate you or cause an emesis. But I know, stiffling it might be a pain in the lungs so you can be exempted from not trying to do that.
4. We all are music fans. Who doesn't like a bit of soothing jazz or for that matter brain dislocating bam bam. But whatever it is, whichever latest gadget you have be it an ipod or a S3 you want to flaunt, you do not put it on full volume and hum along 'Main tera Woofer, tu meri amplifier' in a level which is not audible to you off course but definitely is audible in the range on one meter around you!! This would cause severe nightmares to the folks trying to sleep/rest and they may wake up with a scream. You don't want that to happen to you, do you?
For now this is it....may be more later...

Bitter Sweet Symphony
I wanted you in my life,
Speculations about you were rife.
Looked for you here, there and everywhere..
Thought of achieving you, felt like walking on air.
I know, on you, I am banking a lot,
Hoping you to spray colors to a pallid plot.
You are hiding behind the prevalent scenes,
With a motto,like a person of means.
And then tomorrow comes and you run away,
Yet I feel you to come closer every single day.
Finally when you arrived and held me,
You bound to me like an unforeseen decree.
Was hoping you to interpret for me life's true gnosis,
Pulling me out of an abyss to an eternal bliss.
You were like the cool fresh summer breeze,
Made me happy enough to even understand Cantonese.
Because you came in knocking without any clue,
I wanted to make sure you wouldn't bid adieu.
I wrote your name in the sky, and locked you in,
Looking forward for a beautiful journey to begin.
And just when I began counting on you,
Like the sudden gush of wind you just blew.
The pack of cards came crumbling down,
Lying there, smirking at me was the clown.
Nothing could have stopped you, you are insurmountable,
You would come and go,as you dislike being stable.
Should have known, with you I shall always have a tryst,
You are the 'Change' which would forever exist.
You are the only evidence of my existence,
But like the mist you never wait to condense.
Sometimes I like you and sometimes I don’t,
Change is constant, I can’t resist & I won’t.

Drunkards Song
Smoking a weed,
Sitting by the tree,
I am sloshed,
Drowning in sea.
Feeling all weird,
Demons in head on a high,
I am invisible,
Like catcher in the rye.
I couldn't care less,
But her thought enters my head,
I am lonely,
For her, I am dead.
Not in my senses,
But this ain't a drunkards song,
I was her best friend,
Until Riche Rich came along.
Truly loved me she said,
Trusted her with my heart,
I was a backup,
Dumped, for a new start.
Left without a parachute,
Cut off the oxygen supply,
I was a loafer,
Just a random guy.
Words left unspoken,
Love sure comes with a fee
I am sober,
Just as she told me to be.

This Is Me
I want to exist in the corners,
Wish to see my life from a 3d view,
Rustle around in known place like foreigners,
Hoping my disguise would carry me through.
Why do I want this?
I don't know.
This is me,
That's all I know.
One, Two and turn, elegantly roam like the knight,
And suddenly disappear like Houdini with a sleight.
To move all around with nothingness,
Jumping off from the fence of pretense.
Being stuck somewhere in between the line,
Wanting to rise and shine.
Yet to not care a damn about this world,
Lying on a hammock,reading a book,all curled.
I shut my eyes and I see stars that shine bright,
Sleep empowers and sweetly kisses me good night.
Paving way to a kaleidoscope of patterns in my mind,
Waking up to a morning with no thoughts left behind.
Sleep empowers and sweetly kisses me good night.
Paving way to a kaleidoscope of patterns in my mind,
Waking up to a morning with no thoughts left behind.
Why do I want this?
I don't know.
This is me,
That's all I know...

A Love Story
Let me tell you a love story
A legendary tale full of elan and glory.
She's a girl in a pretty pink gown,
He's her prince charming from tinsel town.
What happens 'Jab They Met'?
On each other their eyes are set.
Their fluttering heart beats out of control,
A home run, a kick,a score,a goal!!
In slow motion the wind blows her hair,
Cupid strikes love is in the air.
From the corner of her eye she steals a glance,
Imagines them together doing ball dance.
Oops!!Dancing on street;stumbles,she trips,
She gasps! Her hand he firmly grips.
I won't let you fall my lady,
Falling for her slow and steady.
And begins the saga of incomprehensible talks,
Round and round the aimless walks.
Inseparable they are like the moth from flame,
Saxophones and guitar play in background they claim.
Each others sentences they unknowing complete ,
A look at each other & their heart skips a beat.
Beneath the starry skies he holds her hand,
Promises enclosed in a golden band.
And down he goes on bended wobbly knees,
A ring in hand,"Will You Marry Me Please"?
She says "YES" & he leans in for a kiss,
A slap on the back, something is amiss!!
Working from home, drooling on the table,
It's her husband not the prince from the fable.
A friendly slap and shes jolted into reality,
The side effect of work and it's cruelty.
He's concerned, "Any Thing Wrong My Dear"!?
"Nothing My Prince Charming,Come Sit Near".
And so they open their laptops and work together ,
Aiyyo !! So romantic, perfect!nothing could be better!!!!! :P
DISCLAIMER : All the above mentioned situation and characters are totally a work of creative fiction :) Any resemblance to anyone is totally coincidental :P !!!!!

Again & Yet Again
My City Mumbai....Is Hit By Blasts Yet Again...Innocent Lives Lost...For How Long Do We Tolerate These Attacks.. Try To Move On...Again & Again Old Wounds Are Scratched
The city which gives a second chance......
Where hope springs from the dead's grave.
'Terror' tagging along as the city's bride,
Justice is what we crave.
Everytime regaining the lost pride.
A mokery of our patience,
A slap on our face,
Yet we tolerate the nonsence,
The government stumbles in the haze.
The city which gives a second chance.......

Chimera Or Reality...
Dreams whisper only what you know,
The idea foments to slowly grow.
Subconscious mind knocks on the door,
Seamless thoughts begin to pour.
You are transported to a distant land,
Ruminate on the footprints left on sand.
The very thought you wish to avoid,
Crawls in, sucks you in a void.
Nothing but a matter less extension of your soul,
Unintentionally, mind takes in full control.
Facing the things that scare you the most,
Cold hand of fear grips you like a ghost.
Jumping with sudden delight,
Screaming with numb icy fright.
Head on collision with your innermost desire,
Truth unravels sans any fancy attire.
Mysterious happenings all around,
The dream leaves you spellbound.
Reasoning takes in a different angle,
No longer bounded between crevices of a triangle.
A memoir feeling of a déjà vu,
A moment lived from a different view.
A sudden fall from a candy floss cloud,
You feel claustrophobic in crowd.
Suddenly you dream of a ray of hope,
Tough times you wish to cope.
Standing under the starry chameleon sky,
The divine feeling of the dreamy eye.
What if this life is a dream?
If things are not as they seem?
A dream within dream as in ‘Inception’,
A figment of subliminal imagination.
May be that’s what happens when we die,
In some other world we open our eyes.
The idea foments to slowly grow.
Subconscious mind knocks on the door,
Seamless thoughts begin to pour.
